2025 District Infrastructure Replacement Project

The Green Mountain Water & Sanitation District has commenced the 2025 District Infrastructure Replacement Project (DIRP). The primary objective of DIRP is to replace or rehabilitate aging water and sanitary infrastructure that has surpassed its expected lifespan.

To fund this crucial project, the Green Mountain Water & Sanitation District Board of Directors has introduced an additional "Infrastructure Replacement Fee" for the 2025 budget.

As part of the 2025 DIRP, the district will replace over 6,000 feet of water main in the following areas:

  • W Dakota Dr from W Virginia Pl North/Northeast to S Union Blvd
  • W Ohio Dr from S Van Gordon Ct North/Northeast to S Union Blvd
  • W Texas Dr from W Connecticut Dr Northeast/East to S Van Gordon Ct
  • S Urban Way from W Florida Ave Northwest/North to W Carolina Dr
  • S Van Gordon St from W Jewell Ave North to W New Mexico Pl
  • S Moore St from W Kentucky Dr North to W Exposition Dr
  • S Miller Ct from W Kentucky Dr North to W Exposition Dr
  • W Ohio Dr from S Coors Dr West to S Deframe Way
  • W Virginia Dr from Fig Way to Cole Ct
  • Wright St in the Telluride West complex
  • S Coors St from W Warren Dr North/Northeast to S Deframe St

Additionally, the district will rehabilitate over 7,000 feet of sanitary sewer line through the process of cure-in-place lining. This method will ensure the longevity and reliability of our sewer infrastructure without the need for extensive excavation.

We appreciate the community's understanding and support as we undertake these essential improvements to maintain and enhance our district's infrastructure.
